Kelly Johnston

Kelly Johnston

President

Kelly Johnston has a large amount of experience in both the public accounting and private industry accounting fields. Her background includes a Bachelor in Finance and a Master of Science in Accounting, with experience in the healthcare industry with critical access hospitals and physician offices, audit, and tax preparation. Her education and experience can add value to new start-up organizations, developing businesses, and healthcare entities by creating a strong financial reporting set up and assisting in new financial reports.

Bonnie Moring

Accounting Manager

Bonnie comes with experience in bookkeeping and accounting from the financial industry. She has helped prepare and reconcile financials and set up new processes, which will be useful for any new clients that would like to work on their books. Bonnie is a certified coach and loves helping people create a financial strategy that will help them towards their goals. Outside of work, Bonnie likes to dance, teach barre fitness, do yoga, and travel the world.

Alexis Branch

Tax Manager

Alexis has 13 years of public accounting experience and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Economics. She has tax experience in professional services, real estate (commercial and residential), transportation, manufacturing and construction industries. She also has extensive experience with Non-Profit tax services as well. Outside of work Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband Justin, daughters Willow and Winter and dogs Marley, a yellow Labrador and Zydeco, a Great Dane. She enjoys cooking, traveling, music festivals and concerts and is learning to play the guitar.

Kristine Jones

Kristine Jones

Staff Accountant

Kristine comes with over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. In these years, she has assisted companies in numerous fields that would range from having one employee to over 200 employees. She also brings experience in policy writing, human resources, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, inventory, as well as office management. Outside of work, Kristine is married to an amazing man, has a step-daughter, a son and daughter-in-law and an amazing grandson.  She has 2 pooches and enjoys taking walks with them.

Isaiah Tyler

Staff Accountant

Isaiah comes with several years of experience in public and private industry accounting. His background includes a Bachelors degree in Corporate Finance from The University of Akron and a MBA from Liberty University. Before joining JFS, Isaiah served in accounting roles for companies in the medical, construction, private and non-profit industries. Outside of work Isaiah enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, concerts, and traveling.

Nadine Lopas

Firm Administrator

Nadine brings a background of management and accounting.  She ensures that quality service is provided to all clients at JFS.  Nadine is the newest employee of JFS.  She joined as firm administrator in May of 2021. She really enjoys the team-driven, friendly, and professional environment here at JFS.  She prides herself on excellent customer service and looks forward to getting to know our clients better over the coming years. In her spare time, Nadine enjoys spending time with family and crafting and enjoying our beautiful mountains.
